When starting your forklift, safety should be your number one priority. It is also a regulation of OH&S and WH&S that you do operational checks. So what should you be looking for, when carrying out these checks? You need to check your Tyres are they worn or cracked, Hydraulic hoses are they leaking, Lights are they damaged? Just to name a few and this is before you turn the forklift on. Once you turn your forklift on, you will have more checks to be carried out. For example, do the Brakes work, do all the Lights work, do you have control of the Lift? Again these are just a few things you need to be checking and that's why it is important to have a check list. Forklifts can be dangerous, not only to the operator but to people around the forklift. It is not only the responsibility of the owner of the forklift but also of the operator, to ensure that the forklift is safe to operate. If there are any safety issues or mechanical problems please don't hesitate to contact us to get your forklift serviced or repaired.

Our handy check lists are A4 sized and have tips on what to look for while conducting your checks. We hope our check list makes it easier for you to to check and of course operate your forklift safely.

Please don't hesitate to contact us, we are only more than happy to help!
